This blog has been inspired by my recent viewing of "Julie & Julia".
I feel much like the main character, Julie....

1) She starts things but never finishes them.
2) She wants to be heard.
3) She feels lost sometimes and needs a new purpose, a new direction, a new heading...
etc etc etc...

I want to create a goal, work through it, finish it and feel accomplished.
When I start creating goals I often picture myself as a character in a movie who starts a goal and then is shown in an inspiring-music-accompanied montage of herself working through the hard times....for example, picture the main character in "Legally Blonde". Once she finds out that her boyfriend is scum, she steps up to the challenge and gets accepted to law school through a lot of hard work.

Oh yeah, I could do that.

But the part they don't show is that it takes days, weeks, months...even years. Am I truly up to the challenge? I'd like to think so.

I have a list of things I want to do before I die...you know, "The Bucket List"...inspired by another movie. I see a pattern developing here. I am inspired by movies. And I actually have completed some of those things.

So this blog is going to be about my adventures in experiencing items from my bucket list. I'll begin by posting about the ones I have already accomplished and then pick another goal to work on and post about my experiences. I am excited!

When you get that "stop biting my fingernails" thing figured out, please share. I've been doing that forever and it totally grosses out my husband.

Good luck on your list!
